Here is a walk through of our dream project – Sanatan Mandir and Community Project or SMCC in short. SMCC will be built on three acres green field site locally known as Appletree Farm. It is near Gatwick Airport, the second largest airport in the UK. SMCC is a brand new project with the main aim to preserve, protect and progress Hindu Dharma (religion and way of life) for not this but also the future generation.
SMCC is estimated to cost £3.99 million. Since 1992 Morari Bapu Katha in Crawley we have raised 50% of the needed funds. We still need to raise a lot more funds. Please help us in this worthwhile cause to champion Hindu Dharma.
SMCC building will commence in January 2008 and be completed in April 2009.
We are seeking sponsorship for Appletree Site (known as Apple Fund) and the Community Centre.
Apple Fund: the whole site is divided into 2000 small pieces and for only £400 you can dedicate a small piece of land to anyone in your family on this wonderful religious site for ever.
Temple: most of the sponsorship for the Temple has been pledged. There is still opportunity to participate in sponsorship of the Main Shikhar and other smaller items.
Community Hall: a large and modern community hall is available to be sponsored by an individual, family, group or a company. This is an ideal opportunity for your name to be remembered for generations.
Others (Kitchen, Offices, Facilities, Gardens) – many others smaller and bigger items are also available for sponsorship.
